Amsterdam Weather

Nooo! Finally on the begining of June 2001 a set phrase about Netherland Weather it's become true: it's unpredictable, we can have in the same day sun, rain, storm, then again sun. The last days it's raining a lot! Fortunately all the months before was very nice although sometimes very windy. My professor here think that summer in Amsterdam is already over. This makes me laugh knowing that in Opatija is 30 °C :-)
Amsterdam is so close to the North Sea that the weather is usually neither extremely hot nor cold and there's always some chance of wind and rain. Temperatures range from around freezing in winter (It's common to have some snow in winter, but the canals don't often freeze over), through to sunny days and 20 to 30 degrees Celsius in summer.

The blu bars represent mm of Rainy per m2 while the orange line the trend of the temperature during the year.
Because of this strange weather, people usually has always two plans for the weekend holidays: one if it will be rainy and one if it will be sunny.
