I took a trip with my love at Zaanse Schans (Zaandam), to enjoy well-preserved historic windmills and houses. The blog background picture was taken there! There are eight main windmills, each of them specialized in something (mustardmill, sawmill, dyemill or oilmill). Today they are not really working anymore - just for tourist attraction.
